The Duke of Edinburgh, Admiral and Member, Royal Yacht Squadron, this evening attended the Spring Dinner at St James’s Palace.

The Duke of York, Chairman of the Trustees, Outward Bound Trust, this morning held a Trustees’ Meeting.

His Royal Highness afterwards gave a Luncheon for the Outward Bound Patron’s Company at Buckingham Palace.

The Duke of York, Colonel-in-Chief, Small Arms School Corps, this afternoon received Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Sanderson upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Major Paul Redding upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Falklands Conservation, received Mr Henry Robinson (United Kingdom Chairman) and Ms Amanda Shepherd (United Kingdom Vice Chairman).

The Duke of York received Sir Richard Dearlove (Joint Chairman, the Cambridge Security Initiative) and Professor Christopher Andrew (Joint Chairman, the Cambridge Security Initiative).

The Earl of Wessex, Honorary Member, Royal Yacht Squadron, this evening attended the Spring Dinner at St James’s Palace.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the British Nutrition Foundation, this morning launched Healthy Eating Week for Schools, Wansdyke Primary School, School Close, Whitchurch, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol (Mrs John Prior).

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon visited the Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust and opened the new Visitor Centre, Bridge Road, Leigh Woods, Bristol.

Her Royal Highness later opened Barstaple Almshouse and Day Centre, Lower Knole Lane, Brentry, Bristol.
