Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Yackoley Kokou Johnson was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Togolese Republic to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Johnson was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr José Enrique Castillo Barrantes was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Costa Rica to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Olga Echeverria Murray was also received by Her Majesty.

Mrs Deborah Bronnert (Chief Operating Officer of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office) was present.

Major-General Blaise Cathcart (Judge Advocate General of Her Majesty’s Canadian Armed Forces) was received by The Queen this afternoon.

Colonel Sir Graham Day (Colonel Commandant of Her Majesty’s Canadian Armed Forces Legal Branch) was also received by The Queen.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Admiral and Member, this afternoon attended the a Fleet Review in the Solent to mark the Two Hundredth Anniversary of the Royal Yacht Squadron and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Isle of Wight (Major General Martin White).

His Royal Highness, Admiral and Member, Royal Yacht Squadron, later attended a Church Service in Holy Trinity Church, Church Lane, Cowes.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Admiral and Member, Royal Yacht Squadron, this evening attended Beat Retreat at the Castle, the Parade, Cowes.

His Royal Highness, Admiral and Member, Royal Yacht Squadron, afterwards attended a Dinner at the Castle.

The Prince of Wales, Colonel, Welsh Guards, this evening attended a Dinner at White’s Club, 37 St James’s Street, London SW1.

The Earl of Wessex, Honorary Member, and The Countess of Wessex this afternoon viewed a Fleet Review in the Solent, off the Isle of Wight, to mark the Two Hundredth Anniversary of the Royal Yacht Squadron.

His Royal Highness, Honorary Member, Royal Yacht Squadron, and Her Royal Highness later attended the Bicentenary Church Service in Holy Trinity Church Cowes, Church Lane, Cowes, and were received by Mrs S Sheldon (Deputy Lieutenant of Isle of Wight).

The Earl of Wessex, Honorary Member, Royal Yacht Squadron, and The Countess of Wessex afterwards attended Beat Retreat at the Castle, the Parade, Cowes.

His Royal Highness, Honorary Member, and Her Royal Highness this evening attended the Royal Yacht Squadron Dinner at the Castle.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today carried out the following engagements.

Her Royal Highness, Commodore-in-Chief, Portsmouth, this morning attended a Centenary of Collingwood Battalion Memorial Service at Headquarters Defence School of Communications and Information Systems, Blandford Camp, Blandford, Dorset.

The Princess Royal, Member, Royal Yacht Squadron, this afternoon attended the Bicentenary Fleet Review in the Solent and was received by Sir Guy Acland, Bt (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Isle of Wight).

Her Royal Highness, Member, Royal Yacht Squadron, later attended a Church Service in Holy Trinity Church, Church Lane, Cowes.
