The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, 6th Battalion The Rifles, and The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, 7th Battalion The Rifles, this morning attended a Service of Commemoration for the Bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo in St. Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4, followed by a Reception at Guildhall, London EC2.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Kent, representing The Queen, this morning attended the Belgian National Commemoration of the Bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo at the Lion’s Mound (Butte du Lion), Braine-l’Alleud, Waterloo, and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium (Her Excellency Miss Alison Rose).
His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the Memorial Building given by The King of the Belgians.
