The Prince of Wales this afternoon received Sir Ronald Harwood and the Lord Weidenfeld.

His Royal Highness afterwards held a Meeting to discuss social media and digital acceleration.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Dinner at Apsley House, London W1, given by the Duke of Wellington to commemorate the Two Hundredth Anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo.

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Colonel, 2nd Battalion The Rifles, this morning attended a Service of Commemoration in St Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4, for the Bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo, followed by a Reception at Guildhall, London EC2.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, 6th Battalion The Rifles, and The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Colonel, 7th Battalion The Rifles, this morning attended a Service of Commemoration for the Bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo in St. Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4, followed by a Reception at Guildhall, London EC2.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, representing The Queen, this morning attended the Belgian National Commemoration of the Bicentenary of the Battle of Waterloo at the Lion’s Mound (Butte du Lion), Braine-l’Alleud, Waterloo, and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium (Her Excellency Miss Alison Rose).

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the Memorial Building given by The King of the Belgians.

Captain Edward Dalrymple Hamilton was in attendance.

Princess Alexandra this evening visited the Aldeburgh Festival at Snape Maltings Concert Hall, Snape Bridge, Suffolk.
