Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning planted a commemorative tree at Halkburn Diamond Jubilee Wood, Torwoodlee, Galashiels, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Roxburgh, Ettrick and Lauderdale (Captain the Hon. Gerald Maitland-Carew).

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended the Battle of Waterloo Celebration at the Waterloo Monument, Penielheugh, Monteviot Estate, Jedburgh.
