The Queen, Patron, this morning visited the Scottish Veterans’ Garden City Association’s new housing development for disabled veterans at Salvesen Gardens, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Donald Wilson, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost) and the President of the Association (the Lord Selkirk of Douglas).

Her Majesty, escorted by Lieutenant Colonel Richard Callander (Chairman of the Association), met Salvesen, Inverness and Angus veterans, and original Salvesen residents.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Royal Honorary Colonel, City of Edinburgh Universities Officers Training Corps, this morning received Lieutenant Colonel Robert Connelly (Commanding Officer).

His Royal Highness, Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today attended Receptions at the Palace of Holyroodhouse for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award.

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall this morning chaired a Meeting of The Prince’s Council at 10 Buckingham Gate, London SW1.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Meeting of The Prince of Wales’ International Sustainability Unit and Accounting for Sustainability, at the British Academy, 10-11 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, later received Mr. Jean-Marc Duvoisin (Chief Executive Officer, Nestlé Nespresso S.A.).

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, this evening held a Dinner at St James’s Palace for the Institute’s Rewiring the Economy initiative.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended the Lawn Tennis Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Wimbledon, London SW19.

The Duke of York this afternoon arrived at Jacksons International Airport, Port Moresby, and was received by the Hon Theo Zurenuoc (Acting Governor-General of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea).

The Earl of Wessex this morning visited Her Majesty’s Young Offenders Institution Polmont, Brightons, Falkirk, and was received by Mr Allan French (Deputy Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited a First World War Exhibition at Callendar House, Callendar Park, Falkirk, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk (Mrs Marjory McLachlan).

The Earl of Wessex later visited the Boys’ Brigade at Carronvale House, Carronvale Road, Larbert, Stirlingshire.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Big Bad Wolf Children’s Theatre Company, Dobbie Hall, Main Street, Larbert.

The Countess of Wessex this morning visited Nethergate School, Swansdowne Drive, Clifton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire (Sir John Peace).

Her Royal Highness today visited the Anthony Nolan Cell Therapy Centre, Clifton Campus, Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham.

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon opened Wolfson Cystic Fibrosis Centre, Nottingham City Hospital, Hucknall Road, Nottingham.

The Princess Royal, Visitor, this morning visited Strathcarron Hospice, Randolph Hill, Denny, Stirlingshire, and was received by Mr James Parker (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Tenovus Scotland, this afternoon visited medical research projects at Robert Gordon University, Garthdee Campus, Garthdee Road, Aberdeen, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Aberdeen (Councillor George Adam, the Lord Provost).

The Princess Royal afterwards opened the Sir Ian Wood Building at Robert Gordon University.
