Buckingham Palace

The Queen, Air Commodore-in-Chief, Royal Air Force Regiment, was entertained to Luncheon this afternoon in the Officers’ Mess, St James’s Palace, by the Officers of The Queen’s Colour Squadron (63 Squadron Royal Air Force Regiment) and was received by Squadron Leader Richard Evans (Officer Commanding The Queen’s Colour Squadron).

The Rt Hon David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of Her Majesty this evening.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Honorary Member, the Institution of Engineering Designers, this evening held a Reception at St James’s Palace to launch the Chartership of Technical Product Designers.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning visited Llandovery Hospital, Llanfair Road, Llandovery, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed (the Hon Robin Lewis).

The Prince of Wales, Patron, and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening held a Concert performed by the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and afterwards gave a Reception.

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited the Royal Oak Inn, Rhandirmwyn, and was received by Miss Sara Edwards (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed).

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the flower festival at St Barnabas Church, Rhandirmwyn.

The Duchess of Cornwall later visited Llandovery Young Men’s Christian Association, Gerwyn House, Market Square, Llandovery, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon gave a Tea Party for children from Ty Hafan: the Children’s Hospice in Wales.

The Duke of York, Patron, Harwell and Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus, and Patron, the International Year of Light, this morning attended the Science and Technology Facilities Council Open Day at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Harwell, and was received by Mr Paul Bradstock (Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).

His Royal Highness later visited Symm and Company Limited, Osney Mead, Oxford.

The Duke of York this afternoon attended a briefing on Oxford Sciences Innovation Plc at the Department of Pharmacology, University of Oxford, Mansfield Road, Oxford, and was received by Mr Bernard Taylor (Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).

The Earl of Wessex, President, Sport and Recreation Alliance, this morning attended the Annual General Meeting at the Royal Institution of Great Britain, Albemarle Street, London W1.

His Royal Highness, Honorary Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers, this afternoon attended an Education Committee Meeting at Haberdashers’ Hall, 18 West Smithfield, London EC1.

The Princess Royal this morning opened the Kelpies at Helix Park, Grangemouth, Falkirk, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk (Mrs Marjory McLachlan).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, this afternoon opened the new Linlithgow Rugby Football Club Community Training Facility, Mains Park, Mains Road, Linlithgow, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Lothian (Mrs John Brydie).

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Construction Youth Trust, this afternoon received Mrs Christine Townley (Director) and Ms Lucinda Darby (Marketing and Communications Manager).

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Friends of St Paul’s Cathedral, this afternoon attended the Annual Festival Service in St Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, today attended the Lawn Tennis Championships at Church Road, Wimbledon, London SW19.
