Buckingham Palace

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Miroslav Wlachovsky at 25 Kensington Palace Gardens, London W8, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Slovak Republic to the Court of St James’s.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited Padstow and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Pentewan, St. Austell, and were received by the Deputy Lords-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Viscountess Boyd of Merton and Sir Ferrers Vyvyan).

The Prince Charles, Duke of Cornwall later visited the Falmouth Arms, Ladock, Truro.

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Reception for The Duke of Cornwall’s Benevolent Fund at the Duchy Nursery, Lostwithiel.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning opened the Active Rutland Hub at Oakham Enterprise Park, Ashwell Road, Oakham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Rutland (Dr Laurence Howard).

Her Royal Highness, President, Royal Yachting Association, this afternoon attended the International Sailing Federation Team Racing World Championships and subsequently attended a Reception to mark the Twentieth Anniversary of Rutland Sailability, Rutland Sailing Club, Gibbetts Lane, Edith Weston, Oakham.

The Princess Royal, Yeoman, the Worshipful Company of Saddlers, this evening was installed as Perpetual Master at Saddlers’ Hall, 40 Gutter Lane, London EC2.
