The Earl of Wessex this morning opened the new Headquarters of the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Newsham Court, Calcot, Reading, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (Mr James Puxley).

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Sue Ryder — Thorpe Hall Hospice Appeal, this afternoon officially opened Thorpe Hall Hospice, Thorpe Road, Longthorpe, Peterborough, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mr Hugh Duberly).
