Balmoral Castle

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Viscount De L’Isle (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kent) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Mr. Allan Willett (formerly Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kent) which was held in Canterbury Cathedral this morning.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Mr. Richard Oldfield.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex were represented by Mr. Peter Williams.

The Princess Royal was represented by Mrs. Brian Hammond.

The Duke of Kent was represented by Mr. Nicholas Marden.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl and Countess of Wessex, Founders, Wessex Youth Trust, this afternoon held a Luncheon at Ascot Racecourse, Berkshire.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, President, Caribbean-Canada Emerging Leaders’ Dialogue (part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences), this morning attended the Report Back Dialogues with Trinidad and Tobago, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas Study Groups at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, Kingston, Jamaica.

Her Royal Highness, President, Caribbean-Canada Emerging Leaders’ Dialogue (part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences), this afternoon attended a Luncheon for delegates followed by the Closing Ceremony at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.

The Princess Royal later departed Jamaica for the United Kingdom.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon visited the Hare Festival Way at Watermoor, Cirencester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
