The Prince of Wales, President, the Mary Rose Trust, was represented by Rear Admiral John Lippiett (formerly Chief Executive, the Mary Rose Trust) at the Memorial Service for Dr. Margaret Rule (formerly Chief Archæologist of the Mary Rose and Research Director, the Mary Rose Trust) which was held in Portsmouth Cathedral, Hampshire, this afternoon.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, President, Edith Cavell Centenary Appeal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon departed from Kemble Airfield, Gloucestershire, and was received later on arrival at Abelag Airport by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium (Her Excellency Miss Alison Rose).

Her Royal Highness, President, Edith Cavell Centenary Appeal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Dinner given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium at the Residence in Brussels.

Captain Nicholas Wright, Royal Navy is in attendance.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this evening attended the Rugby World Cup Pool Match between the United States of America and Japan at Kingsholm Stadium, Kingsholm Road, Gloucester, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

Buckingham Palace

Princess Alexandra, Deputy President, British Red Cross Society, this evening attended Dance Power at the Theatre Royal, Catherine Street, London WC2.
