COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The Queen held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Governor of Victoria (the Hon Linda Dessau AM) and Judge Anthony Howard were received by Her Majesty.

The Rt Hon David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Honorary Fellow, Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, this afternoon opened the Institute’s new premises at 297 Euston Road, London W1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa).

His Royal Highness, Grand Master, the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, later attended Evensong for members of the Order in St Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning visited Spirit of New Zealand training vessel at Prince’s Wharf, Auckland, New Zealand.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall afterwards departed Whenuapai Airport for Australia and were received this afternoon at Royal Australian Air Force Base Edinburgh, South Australia, by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia (General the Hon Sir Peter Cosgrove), the Hon Hieu Van Le (Governor of South Australia) and the Hon Mr. Jay Weatherill MP (Premier of South Australia).

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Tanunda in the Barossa Valley.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall subsequently visited Seppeltsfield Winery, Barossa Valley.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community, later broke ground for the site of the Prince’s Terraces at Bowden Terraces, Adelaide.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended a Meeting at Government House, Adelaide, with organisations working to address domestic violence.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall were received upon arrival at Sydney Airport this evening by General the Hon David Hurley (Governor of New South Wales).

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning received Mr Zeng Peiyan (former Vice Premier of the People’s Republic of China).

The Sultan of Perak called upon His Royal Highness this afternoon.

The Duke of York later received the Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute Special Distinguished Benevolence Award in Kensington Palace State Apartments.

The Earl of Wessex, Honorary Air Commodore, this morning visited Royal Air Force Waddington, Lincolnshire.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Royal Air Force Coningsby, Lincolnshire.

The Countess of Wessex this morning departed Heathrow Airport, London, for the United States of America and was received upon arrival this afternoon at John F Kennedy International Airport, New York, by Mr Martin Cook (Deputy British Consul-General for New York).

Her Royal Highness, Global Ambassador, 100 Women in Hedge Funds Next Generation Initiatives, later attended the Five Hundredth Education event at Citi offices, 153 East 53rd Street, New York.

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, 100 Women in Hedge Funds Next Generation Initiatives, this evening attended a Dinner at Citi offices.

Mrs Angus Galletley is in attendance.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, President, World Horse Welfare, this afternoon attended the Annual Conference at the Royal Geographical Society, 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Corps of Signals, later received Colonel Graham Norton upon relinquishing his appointment as Corps Colonel and Colonel Simon Hutchinson upon assuming the appointment.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Opportunity International United Kingdom, this evening held a Dinner at Buckingham Palace.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this evening attended a Reception for Brazilian Health Ministers at Tower Bridge, London SE1.
