His Excellency Mr Branko Neskovic was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Neskovic was also received by Her Majesty.

Her Excellency Mrs Gulnara Iskakova was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Kyrgyz Republic to the Court of St James’s.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

Mr Narendra Modi MP (Prime Minister of the Republic of India) was received by Her Majesty this afternoon and remained to Luncheon.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Captain General, Royal Marines, this morning visited 1 Assault Group Royal Marines at HM Naval Base Devonport, Plymouth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr David Fursdon).

Prince Henry of Wales this evening attended the Royal Variety Performance in aid of the Royal Variety Charity at the Royal Albert Hall, London SW7, and was received by Wing Commander Michael Dudgeon (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of York this morning arrived at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (His Excellency Mr Giles Lever).

His Royal Highness this afternoon called upon Mr Bui Quang Vinh (Minister of Planning and Investment) at the Ministry, 6B Hoang Dieu Street, Hanoi.

The Duke of York later called upon Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung MP (Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam) at 1 Hung Vuong Street, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner given by the Minister of Planning and Investment at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel, Hanoi.

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Toronto Western Hospital.
