By command of The Queen, Mr Christopher Martin (Principal Private Secretary to the Prime Minister and Director-General of the Prime Minister’s Office) was this afternoon presented with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, which honour Her Majesty has been pleased to confer upon him.

The Princess Royal, President, Medical Equestrian Association, this afternoon attended the Thirtieth Anniversary Conference at the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
