Buckingham Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Outward Bound Trust, this evening held the Seventy Fifth Anniversary Dinner at Buckingham Palace.

Mr Alan Tait (Deputy Lieutenant of West Sussex) was present at Gatwick Airport, London, this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Ghana and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Ranjan Mathai at 9 Kensington Palace Gardens, London W8, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for the Republic of India in London.

The Prince of Wales this morning opened the Session Lima Paris Action Agenda: Focus on Forests at the Twenty First United Nations Conference of the Parties on Climate Change in Paris, France.

His Royal Highness later arrived at Royal Air Force Marham from France.

Mr James Bowden and Miss Kristina Kyriacou were in attendance.

Prince Henry of Wales this morning joined a training session at the Sharks Rugby Club, Kings Park Stadium, Durban, South Africa.

His Royal Highness later visited the Surfers Not Street Children Programme in Durban and watched a lifesaving demonstration.

Prince Henry of Wales this afternoon visited the Mission Area Joint Operations Centre at Kruger National Park.

The Duke of York, Past Captain, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, today held a Past Captains’ Meeting and Luncheon at Buckingham Palace.

His Royal Highness this afternoon received The President of the Republic of Malawi.

The Duke of York later attended a Dinner given by General Olusegun Obasanjo (former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria) at Mosimann’s, West Halkin Street, London SW1.

The Countess of Wessex this morning held a Meeting with representatives of Blind Veterans UK.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Sense — the National Deafblind and Rubella Association, this afternoon attended a Reception for TouchBase Specialist Resource Centre, Opus Restaurant, 54 Cornwall Street, Birmingham, and was received by Mr John Crabtree (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).
