Buckingham Palace
The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, The Canadian Grenadier Guards, today received Colonel Richard Pound (Honorary Colonel), Lieutenant Colonel Wajahet Beg (Commanding Officer) and Regimental Sergeant Major William Simakis.
The Duke of Wellington was received by Her Majesty this afternoon and delivered up the Insignia of the Order of the Garter worn by his father, the late Duke of Wellington.
The following were received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassadors: Mr Andrew Dalgleish (the Republic of Croatia), Miss Fionna Gibb (the Republic of Belarus), Ms. Sophie Honey (the Republic of Slovenia) and Ms. Catherine Inglehearn (the Republic of Guinea).
Mrs Dalgliesh, Mr Peter Savizon and Mr Christopher Jarratt were also received by Her Majesty.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh held an Evening Reception at Buckingham Palace for the Diplomatic Corps at which The Prince of Wales and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were present.
The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon received Admiral Sir George Zambellas (Chief of the Naval Staff).
His Royal Highness later chaired a Meeting of The Prince’s Council.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, the 1851 Trust, this morning attended a Board Meeting at Kensington Palace.

The Duke of York this evening held a Reception for TechCrunch Disrupt London at St James’ Palace.

The Earl of Wessex, Chancellor, the University of Bath, this afternoon presided at Degree Congregations at the Assembly Rooms, Bennett Street, Bath, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Mrs Richard Maw).
His Royal Highness, Chancellor, the University of Bath, this evening attended an Honorary Graduate Dinner in Bath.
The Countess of Wessex, Grand President, St John Ambulance in the Priory of England and the Islands, this evening attended a Service of Lessons and Carols for Christmas in the Priory Church of the Order of St. John, followed by a Reception at St John’s Gate, St. John’s Lane, Clerkenwell, London EC1.

The Princess Royal, Colonel, The Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons), this evening attended the Household Cavalry Foundation Carol Concert in the Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London SW1.

The Duke of Kent, Patron, St Mungo’s Broadway, this morning received Mr Paul Doe upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman.
