Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today arrived off the coast of Bird Island before departing from South Georgia by sea for the Falkland Islands.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, later attended a series of lectures whilst at sea en route to the Falkland Islands.
