Buckingham Palace
His Excellency Mr Ahmed Shiaan was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Maldives in London.
His Excellency Mr Claudio de la Puente was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Peru to the Court of St James’s.
Mrs Diana Cunliffe was also received by Her Majesty.
Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.
Ms Liz Lochhead was received by The Queen this afternoon when Her Majesty presented her with The Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Royal Patron, this morning visited Royal Trinity Hospice, 30 Clapham Common North Side, London SW4, and was received by Colonel Ewen Cameron (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Trinity Hospice Dinner at St James’s Palace.
