Buckingham Palace
His Excellency Mr Filipe Chidumo was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Mozambique in London.
Mrs Chidumo was also received by Her Majesty.
His Excellency Professor Cheikh Ahmadou Dieng was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Senegal to the Court of St James’s.
Mrs Dieng was also received by Her Majesty.
Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.
The Queen, Patron, Protector and Supporter, Royal Academy of Arts, this afternoon received Mr Christopher Le Brun (President) and Dr Charles Saumarez-Smith (Secretary and Chief Executive).
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, this evening held a Reception at St James’s Palace to mark the Forty Fifth Anniversary of the Britain-Australia Society.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited Stamford Bridge and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of East Riding of Yorkshire (the Hon Mrs Susan Cunliffe-Lister).
His Royal Highness, Patron, and Her Royal Highness afterwards attended a Recital to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of Harrogate International Festivals at the Royal Festival Hall, Ripon Road, Harrogate, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of North Yorkshire (Mr Barry Dodd).
The Prince of Wales, Patron, Macmillan Cancer Support, and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Cancer Centre, Lancaster Park Road, Harrogate.
Their Royal Highnesses later visited Taylors of Harrogate, Plumpton Park, Harrogate.
Kensington Palace
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this morning attended the Search and Rescue Force Disbandment Parade at Royal Air Force Valley, Holyhead, Isle of Anglesey, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gwynedd (Mr Edmund Bailey).
Buckingham Palace
The Princess Royal, Past Master, the Guild of Freemen of the City of London, this morning visited the Museum of London Archaeological Archive and Research Centre, Mortimer Wheeler House, 46 Eagle Wharf Road, London N1.
Her Royal Highness, Patron, Columba 1400, this evening held a Dinner at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
