Major General Edward Smyth-Osbourne (Major General Commanding Household Division) was received by The Queen today.

Sir Peter Ricketts was received by The Queen this afternoon on his retirement from HM Diplomatic Service.

Lady Ricketts was also received by Her Majesty.

Mr David Clark was received by The Queen when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Rt Hon David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, this evening attended a Dinner to mark the Thirtieth Anniversary of the University of Cambridge Kurt Hahn Trust at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, 34 Belgrave Square, London SW1.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, National Literacy Trust, and Patron, Book Trust, this morning visited Islington Central Library, 2 Fieldway Crescent, London N5, and was received by Dr Charles Goodson-Wickes (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Countess of Strathearn, Patron, Place2Be, this morning visited St. Catherine’s Primary School, Gracemount Drive, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Donald Wilson, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, later visited the Art Room at Wester Hailes Education Centre, Murrayburn Drive, Edinburgh.

The Countess of Strathearn this afternoon participated in a Tennis on the Road coaching workshop at Craigmount High School, Craigs Road, Edinburgh.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today carried out engagements to celebrate the Award’s Diamond Anniversary.

His Royal Highness this morning visited Manchester City Football Club Academy, Westgate, Allan Turing Way, Manchester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mr Warren Smith).

The Earl of Wessex later visited Wright Robinson College, Abbey Hey Lane, Manchester.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Lunch at Gorton Monastery, Gorton Lane, Manchester.

The Countess of Wessex, Incoming President, New Forest Agricultural Show Society, this afternoon attended the Annual General Meeting and Board Meeting at Balmer Lawn Hotel, Balmer Lawn Road, Brockenhurst, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson).

St James’s Palace
