The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the International Rugby Match between Scotland and France at Murrayfield, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Donald Wilson, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

The Queen has been pleased to appoint the Reverend Canon John Taylor to be a Chaplain to Her Majesty in succession to the Reverend Canon Richard Cooper.
