The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, today carried out engagements to celebrate the Diamond Anniversary of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

His Royal Highness this morning visited Ryde Arena, Quay Road, Ryde, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Isle of Wight (Major General Martin White).

The Earl of Wessex afterwards attended a Meeting at the offices of Hovertravel Limited, Quay Road, Ryde.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Motiv8 Community Cycling Hub, Ark Royal House, Winston Churchill Avenue, Portsmouth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson).

The Earl of Wessex later visited Peter Symonds Sixth Form College, Owens Road, Winchester.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Winchester Cathedral Appeal, subsequently opened the Wessex Learning Centre, 10A the Close, Winchester.
