Buckingham Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Air League, this evening held a Reception at St. James’s Palace.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Rt. Hon. Sir John Major KG CH (formerly Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Lord Howe of Aberavon CH (formerly Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) which was held in St. Margaret’s Church, Westminster Abbey, London SW1, today.

The Prince of Wales was represented by The Duchess of Cornwall.

The Duke and Duchess of Kent were represented by Mr. Andrew Palmer.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, President, the National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty, this morning received Mr. Timothy Parker (Chairman) and Dame Helen Ghosh (Director-General).

His Royal Highness, Duke of Cornwall received representatives from the Duchy of Cornwall.

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall this afternoon held a Duchy of Cornwall Land Stewards Meeting.

His Royal Highness, Honorary Chairman, World Monuments Fund’s Fiftieth Anniversary, this evening gave a Reception at Clarence House.

Kensington Palace

Prince Henry of Wales, Patron, Invictus Games Foundation, this morning departed from Pearson International Airport, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, for the United States of America.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning held a Meeting.

St. James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, this morning received Mr. Philip Brook (Chairman).

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception to celebrate the National Day of the Republic of Poland at the Polish Embassy, 47 Portland Place, London W1.
