His Excellency Mr. Jitoko Tikolevu was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Fiji in London.

Mrs. Tikolevu was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr. Joonkook Hwang was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Korea to the Court of St. James’s.

Mrs. Shil Rhee was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

The President of the Federal Republic of Germany visited The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon.

The Queen, Captain-General, this afternoon took Tea with members of the Honourable Artillery Company at Armoury House, City Road, London EC1, and was received by Prince Michael of Kent (Honorary Colonel), accompanied by Princess Michael of Kent, and the Colonel Commandant (General Sir Richard Barrons).

The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Hamilton Light Infantry, this morning received Lieutenant Colonel Peter Young (Honorary Colonel) and Mr. Donald Cranston (Honorary Lieutenant Colonel).

Prince Henry of Wales this morning received Professor John Wallwork (Chairman of Papworth Hospital), Dr. Alain Vuylsteke (Clinical Director of Theatres, Critical Care and Anaesthetics) and members of the extra corporeal membrane oxygenation unit.

His Royal Highness, Founder, Pitch@Palace, this afternoon held Pitch@Palace Estonia for entrepreneurs and potential supporters.

The Duke of York this evening arrived at Luton Airport from Estonia.

Mrs. Amanda Thirsk and Mr. David Pogson were in attendance.

His Royal Highness, Patron, English National Ballet, later attended a performance of “Swan Lake” at the Royal Albert Hall, London SW7.

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited Stroma Lighthouse near John O’Groats, in the Pentland Firth, Caithness.

Her Royal Highness subsequently visited Swona Lighthouse in the Pentland Firth, Orkney.
