The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning attended the Thanksgiving Service in St. Paul’s Cathedral for Her Majesty’s Ninetieth Birthday.

Lady Ogilvy with Mr. and Mrs. James Ogilvy, Viscountess Linley, accompanied by the Hon. Charles Armstrong-Jones and the Hon. Margarita Armstrong-Jones, and The Lady Sarah and Mr. Daniel Chatto, accompanied by Mr. Samuel Chatto and Mr. Arthur Chatto also attended.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were received at the Cathedral by the Rt. Hon. the Lord Mayor and Her Majesty and His Royal Highness and other Members of the Royal Family were received by the Dean and Chapter, the Bishop of London and the Archbishop of Canterbury.
The Service was conducted by the Dean of St. Paul’s with the Bishop of London, Lessons were read by the Canon Pastor, Canon in Residence, and the Rt. Hon. David Cameron MP, Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury, the Address was given by the Archbishop of Canterbury, and a piece was read by Sir David Attenborough.
Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The Queen’s Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon entertained Commonwealth Governors-General to Luncheon at Buckingham Palace at which The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall were present.
Other Members of the Royal Family attended a Reception at Guildhall given by the Lord Mayor and the City of London Corporation.
Today is the Anniversary of the Birthday of The Duke of Edinburgh.
His Royal Highness, Colonel, Grenadier Guards, this evening presided over a Conference at Buckingham Palace attended by the Colonels of the Regiments of the Household Division and subsequently entertained the Colonels to Dinner.
