Her Majesty and His Royal Highness drove to Hillsborough Castle, County Down, and were received by the Chairman of Historic Royal Palaces (Mr. Rupert Gavin), Mr. Michael Day (Chief Executive) and Mrs. Patricia Corbett (Head of Hillsborough Castle).

Mrs. Arlene Foster MLA (First Minister of Northern Ireland) was received by The Queen this evening.

Mr. Martin McGuinness MLA (Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland) was received by Her Majesty.

The Princess Royal, Chancellor, the University of Edinburgh, this afternoon attended a Graduation Ceremony at Usher Hall, Lothian Road, Edinburgh, and conferred an Honorary Degree on Prince Albert II of Monaco, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Donald Wilson, the Rt. Hon. the Lord Provost).
