Buckingham Palace

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr. Witold Sobków at 47 Portland Place, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Poland to the Court of St James’s.

Mr. Alan Tait (Deputy Lieutenant of West Sussex) was present at Gatwick Airport, London, this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Latvia and Mrs Vejonis and welcomed Their Excellencies on behalf of The Queen.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited St. Johns Hall, Alverton Street, Penzance, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall later re-opened the Jubilee Pool, Promenade, Penzance.

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall and The Duchess of Cornwall subsequently visited the Minack Theatre Trust, Porthcurno, Churchtown, St. Levan, Penzance, and were received by Mrs. Ellen Winser (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall).

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited the English Heritage Blue Plaques Centre, Fowey, and was received by Major Charles Edward-Collins (Deputy Lieutenant of Cornwall).

Her Royal Highness later attended a Reception to celebrate the Tenth Anniversary of the Lord-Lieutenant’s Fund for Youth at the Duchy of Cornwall Nursery, Cott Road, Lostwithiel.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning opened the new manufacturing facility at Sartorius Stedim, Sperry Way, Stonehouse Park, Stonehouse, near Stroud, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, Hft, this afternoon visited the Specialist Dementia Service, Ryeford Court, 12 Ebley Road, Stonehouse.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Building Centre Trust, this morning attended the Lenses on a Landscape Genius Exhibition at the Building Centre, Gallery Two, Store Street, London WC1.

The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Serbia.

Mrs Euan McCorquodale was in attendance.

Buckingham Palace

Princess Alexandra this afternoon visited Pallant House Gallery, 9 North Pallant, Chichester, to mark the Tenth Anniversary of the new wing opening, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Sussex (Mrs Susan Pyper).
