His Excellency General the Hon David Hurley was received in audience by The Queen today and kissed hands upon his appointment as Governor of New South Wales.
Mrs Hurley was also received by Her Majesty.
The Queen, Duke of Lancaster received Mr Mark Hudson (Chairman of the Council of the Duchy of Lancaster) and Mr Nathan Thompson (Chief Executive).
Her Majesty, Air Commodore-in-Chief, Royal Air Force Regiment, received Air Commodore Andrew Hall upon relinquishing his appointment as Commandant General and Air Commodore Francis Clifford upon assuming the appointment.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, this morning visited MVV Environment Devonport Limited, 40 Creek Road, Plymouth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr David Fursdon).
His Royal Highness, Admiral of the Fleet, afterwards visited HM Naval Base Devonport, Plymouth.
The Prince of Wales, Patron, this evening gave a Reception for the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.
The Duchess of Cornwall this morning officially opened the new BBC South West headquarters at Broadcasting House, Seymour Road, Plymouth, and was received by Sir John Cave, Bt (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Devon).

The Duke of York, Founder, Pitch@Palace, this afternoon visited Improbable, 20 Faringdon Road, London EC1.
His Royal Highness later received Mr Khalid Muhmood (Co-founder, British University Vietnam).
The Duke of York afterwards received Mr Kevin Ellis (Chairman, PricewaterhouseCoopers UK).

The Princess Royal this morning gave the keynote address to the International Course at the Royal College of Defence Studies, Seaford House, 37 Belgrave Square, London SW1.
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this morning invested Dame Patricia Reddy (Governor-General designate of New Zealand) as a Dame of Justice of the Most Venerable Order and Sir David Gascoigne as a Commander in the Order.
His Royal Highness, Patron, British Limbless Ex-Service Men’s Association, was represented by Colonel Ian Waller (Operations Director and Deputy Chief Executive) at the Memorial Service for Mr Jerome Church (former General Secretary) which was held at the Oratory, Brompton Road, London SW7, this morning.
