By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Andris Teikmanis at 45 Nottingham Place, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Latvia to the Court of St James’s.

The Princess Royal this morning opened the renovated Alexandra Footbridge, the Links, Tain, Ross-shire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Ross and Cromarty (Mrs Christopher Brown).
Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Glasstorm Contemporary Glass Studio and Gallery, 2 Chapel Street, Tain, and was received by Mr David Lockett (Deputy Lieutenant of Ross and Cromarty).
The Princess Royal later visited Tain NHS Highland Health Centre, Craighill Terrace, Tain.
Her Royal Highness, Patron, Citizens Advice Scotland, afterwards visited the Ross and Cromarty Bureau, Market Street, Tain.
The Princess Royal then visited the Christian Community Action Support Team Highland, 27 Lamington Street, Tain.
Her Royal Highness subsequently visited Metalwork UK, Blarliath Industrial Estate, Tain.
