Balmoral Castle
The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited Spinlock Limited, Three Gates Road, Cowes, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Isle of Wight (Major General Martin White).
His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Northwood House, Ward Avenue, Cowes.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Life Member, afterwards visited Island Sailing Club, 70 High Street, Cowes, and remained to Luncheon.
Buckingham Palace
The Princess Royal, President, British Olympic Association, this morning visited the British School, Rua Mário Autuori, Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and subsequently visited the Olympic Village, Avenida Olof Palme, Barra de Tijuca.
The Princess Royal, Member, International Olympic Committee, and President, British Olympic Association, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
