The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning departed from Aberdeen Airport for the Russian Federation and was received upon arrival this afternoon at Arkhangelsk Talagi Airport by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation (His Excellency Dr Laurence Bristow).

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, later attended a Military Band Performance and Gala Concert at the MV Lomonosov Drama Theatre, 1 Petrovsky Park, Arkhangelsk.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Dinner given by Her Majesty’s Consul-General for St Petersburg (Mr Keith Allan) in Arkhangelsk.

Captain Nicholas Wright, Royal Navy, is in attendance.
