The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today carried out the following engagements in Canada.
Their Royal Highnesses this morning visited Sheway, Vancouver, and were received by the Hon. Christy Clark (Premier of British Columbia).
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge later visited the Immigrant Services Society of British Columbia, Vancouver, and were received by the Rt. Hon. Justin Trudeau MP (Prime Minister of Canada).
Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon attended a Young Vancouver Reception given by the Prime Minister of Canada at Telus Gardens, Vancouver.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge later visited Kitsilano Coast Guard Station, Vancouver, and attended a Vancouver First Responders Showcase.
Their Royal Highnesses afterwards undertook a hovercraft tour of the harbour and travelled to the Canadian Coast Guard Station Sea Island.
Buckingham Palace
The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today attended an event at Buckingham Palace to mark the completion of The Countess of Wessex’s Diamond Challenge.
The Countess of Wessex this afternoon arrived at Buckingham Palace on completion of Her Royal Highness’s Diamond Challenge on the occasion of the Sixtieth Anniversary of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Kent, Colonel-in-Chief, the Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment), this morning unveiled the Oakville Monument at St George’s Square Park, Ontario, Canada, to commemorate the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Formation of the Regiment and was received by the Mayor of Oakville (Mr. R. Burton).
His Royal Highness later attended a Lunch at the Residence of the Honorary Colonel, Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment), Oakville.
