The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Royal Honorary Colonel, The Queen’s Own Yeomanry, this morning received Lieutenant Colonel Sean Costello upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Julian Smith upon assuming the appointment.

Major General David Rutherford-Jones (Honorary Colonel) was present.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today carried out the following engagements in Canada.

Their Royal Highnesses this morning visited MacBride Museum of Yukon History, Whitehorse, Yukon, and met representatives of The Prince’s Charities of Canada’s Indigenous Language Initiative.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge afterwards attended a Street Party in Main Street, Whitehorse, and were received by the Hon. Douglas Phillips (Commissioner of Yukon).

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited Carcross Commons, Carcross.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge later attended a mountain biking event on Montana Mountain, Carcross.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York was received this morning by The President of the Republic of Mozambique in Maputo, Mozambique.

His Royal Highness later attended the launch of a Ligada Programme at the Southern Sun Hotel, Avenida Da Marginal, Maputo.

The Duke of York afterwards visited the Peri Urban Agri Academy, Maputo.

His Royal Highness today met young Mozambican entrepreneurs at a Digital Skills fair held at the British High Commission in Maputo.

The Duke of York this afternoon departed Maputo International Airport for Botswana and was received later upon arrival by Her Majesty’s High Commissioner to the Republic of Botswana (Her Excellency Miss Katharine Ransome).

His Royal Highness this evening attended the film première of A United Kingdom at Riverwalk Cinema, Gaborone.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today carried out engagements in Wales to celebrate The Award’s Diamond Anniversary.

His Royal Highness this morning attended a talent showcase at Wales Millennium Centre, Bute Place, Cardiff Bay, Cardiff, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Mrs Morfudd Meredith).

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon visited the Challenge Wales Sail Training Yacht, Pierhead Street, Cardiff.

His Royal Highness later visited Cardiff International White Water Centre, Watkiss Way, Cardiff.

The Earl of Wessex afterwards visited Stanwell School, 1 Archer Road, Penarth.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner at Wales Millennium Centre.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon presented The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service to a number of organisations at Shaw House, Church Road, Newbury, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (Mr James Puxley).

The Duchess of Gloucester this morning opened the Secret Garden Community Hub, Faithfull House Residential Home, Suffolk Square, Cheltenham, to mark the Seventieth Anniversary of Lilian Faithfull Homes, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

Her Royal Highness today officially opened Vincent Court Bradbury Apartments, Central Cross Drive, Cheltenham, and afterwards visited the Phoenix Centre, 86-89 Winchcombe Street, Cheltenham, for St Vincent’s and St George’s Association.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George, this evening attended the Annual Evensong in St Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4.
