The Earl of Wessex subsequently visited Google X, the X Building, 100 Mayfield Avenue, Mountain View.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Headquarters of Apple, One Infinite Loop, Cupertino.

The Earl of Wessex later held a Meeting at Fairmont San Francisco Hotel, 950 Mason Street, San Francisco.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner in San Francisco.

The Countess of Wessex, Royal Colonel, 5th Battalion The Rifles, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Wittering, Colonel-in-Chief, Corps of Army Music, Colonel-in-Chief, Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps, and Colonel-in-Chief, The Lincoln and Welland Regiment, today attended The Countess of Wessex Cup, Royal Air Force Wittering, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this afternoon installed Surgeon Rear-Admiral Lionel Jarvis as Prior of England and the Islands at a Service in the Priory Church, St John’s, Clerkenwell, London EC1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa).

His Royal Highness, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, afterwards attended a Meeting with Mr Patrick Burgess (Chancellor) and Vice-Admiral Sir Paul Lambert (Secretary General) at St John’s Gate, St John’s Lane, London EC1.

The Duke of Kent, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, today received Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence upon assuming the appointment of Vice-Chairman.
