By command of Her Majesty, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Navtej Sarna at India House, Aldwych, London WC2, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for the Republic of India in London.

The Duke of York this morning received Mr Malcolm Brinded (Chairman, Royal Academy of Engineering, Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation).

His Royal Highness today received His Excellency Mr Liu Xiaoming (Ambassador from the People’s Republic of China).

The Duke of York, Chairman of the Trustees, the Outward Bound Trust, this afternoon held a Chairman’s Meeting.

His Royal Highness, Patron, London Metropolitan University, received Professor John Raftery (Vice-Chancellor).

The Duke of York, Patron, Raspberry Pi Foundation, this evening held a Reception at St James’s Palace.

The Earl of Wessex this morning departed from San Francisco International Airport, California, United States of America, for Canada and later arrived at Vancouver International Airport, British Columbia.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon attended a Lunch in Vancouver.

The Earl of Wessex, Vice Patron, the Commonwealth Games Federation, this evening attended a Dinner at Ruth Chris’s Steakhouse, 9990 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta.

The Countess of Wessex this morning visited the Somerset Community Foundation, Yeoman House, Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Mrs Richard Maw).

Her Royal Highness, Vice Patron, Royal Bath and West of England Society, subsequently attended the Bath and West Dairy Show, Bath and West Showground.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Sense Scotland, this afternoon opened TouchBase Lanarkshire, 4 Leys Park, Hamilton, and was received by the Lady Haughey (Deputy Lieutenant of Lanarkshire).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine, later attended a Tenth Anniversary Diploma Ceremony at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Nicolson Street, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Donald Wilson, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Opportunity International UK, this evening attended a Dinner at Kinfauns Castle, Perth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Perth and Kinross (Brigadier Melville Jameson).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon opened the SciTec Building, Oundle School, Oundle, Peterborough, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Northamptonshire (Mr David Laing).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent today opened the Gateway Housing Association Exhibition at the Ecology Pavilion, Grove Road, London E3, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa).
