Mr Jakov Kitarovic was also received by Her Majesty.
General the Lord Dannatt was received by The Queen this afternoon upon relinquishing his appointment as Constable of Her Majesty’s Tower of London.
Lieutenant General Richard Nugee was received by The Queen upon relinquishing his appointment as Defence Services Secretary when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.
Air Vice-Marshal Garry Tunnicliffe was received by The Queen upon assuming his appointment as Defence Services Secretary.
The Queen, Patron, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, this evening visited the Royal Academy of Arts, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr. Kenneth Olisa), the President (Mr Christopher Le Brun) and Mr Charles Saumarez Smith (Chief Executive).
Her Majesty presented awards to individuals who have made a national contribution as practitioners or educators in the fields of visual arts or architecture.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh subsequently attended a Reception and met Royal Academicians, artists and supporters.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers, this morning presented The Prince Philip Award at Buckingham Palace.
His Royal Highness this afternoon held a Luncheon at Buckingham Palace for the Heart and Lung Research Institute, Papworth Hospital and Cambridge University.
The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.
The Baroness Chisholm of Owlpen (Baroness in Waiting) was present at Royal Air Force Northolt this morning upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Croatia and Mr Jakov Kitarovic and welcomed Their Excellencies on behalf of The Queen.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay this evening visited the sites of the new restaurant and Highgrove Shop in Ballater, Aberdeenshire, following His Royal Highness’s flood appeal, managed by the Dumfries House Outreach Programme.

The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Henry of Wales, Founder Patrons, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, this evening attended a Reception at Berry Brothers and Rudd, 3 St. James’s Street, London SW1.
The Duchess of Cambridge this morning departed from London City Airport, London E16, for the Netherlands and was received later upon arrival at Rotterdam Airport by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands (Sir Geoffrey Adams).
Her Royal Highness was received by The King of the Netherlands at Villa Eikenhorst, Wassenaar.
The Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon visited Mauritshuis, the Hague.
Her Royal Highness, Patron, Action on Addiction, and Patron, the Anna Freud Centre for Children and Families, afterwards attended a roundtable discussion at the Residence in the Hague.
The Duchess of Cambridge subsequently visited Bouwkeet, the social Makerspace of Bospolder-Tussendijken, Rotterdam.
Her Royal Highness later arrived at London City Airport from the Netherlands.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Baker Dearing Educational Trust, this afternoon presented The Duke of York Awards for Technical Education at St James’s Palace.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, today carried out engagements in Northern Ireland to celebrate the Diamond Anniversary of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Antrim (Mrs Joan Christie).
His Royal Highness this morning met young people participating in the Grass Roots Challenge, at Hillsborough Castle, County Down.
The Earl of Wessex this afternoon visited a Probation Board Project at the Book Reserve, 407 Lisburn Road, Belfast.
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Belfast Activity Centre, Barnett’s Stable Yard, Barnett’s Demesne, Malone Road, Belfast, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast (Mrs Fionnuala Jay-O’Boyle).

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, this morning opened Place2Be, a new teenage “chillout zone”, and visited the neonatal unit at Leeds Children’s Hospital, Great George Street, Leeds, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Dr Ingrid Roscoe).
