His Excellency Mr Koji Tsuruoka was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Japan to the Court of St James’s.
Mrs Tsuruoka was also received by Her Majesty.
Her Excellency Dr Asha-Rose Migiro was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the United Republic of Tanzania in London.
Mr. Cleophas Migiro was also received by Her Majesty.
Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron and Twelfth Man, the Lord’s Taverners, this afternoon presented County Cricket Championship Medals at Buckingham Palace.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community, later held a Meeting on local built environment issues.
The Duchess of Cornwall this morning named Sir Daniel Gooch Place in Swindon and attended a Reception at the Great Western Hotel, Station Road, Swindon, to mark the One Hundred and Seventy Fifth Anniversary of the town and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs Peter Troughton).
Her Royal Highness afterwards attended a briefing about the regeneration of Swindon town centre, at Swindon Borough Council Civic Offices, Euclid Street, Swindon.
The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Hereford Garrison.

Prince Henry of Wales this afternoon attended the Annual Ceremony of Remembrance and Re-dedication of the Memorial at Hendon Police College, Peel Centre, Aerodrome Road, London NW9, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa).

The Duke of York, Fellow, the Royal Society, this afternoon gave a Tea at Buckingham Palace for University Research and Dorothy Hodgkin Fellows.

The Princess Royal this morning opened the One Hundred and Seventy Fifth International Cotton Association Conference at the Titanic Hotel, Stanley Dock, Regents Road, Liverpool, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside (Dame Lorna Muirhead).
Her Royal Highness this afternoon named the Atlantic Container Line Ship Atlantic Sea at Liverpool Docks.
