Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and was received by the British High Commissioner to Malaysia (Her Excellency Mrs Victoria Treadell).

Her Royal Highness, President, Emerging Leaders’ Dialogues Asia (part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences), later visited Proton Holdings Berhad, Centre of Excellence Complex, Suban Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan.

The Princess Royal, President, Emerging Leaders’ Dialogues Asia (part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences), this afternoon visited the British International School Kuala Lumpur, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

Her Royal Highness this evening was received by Princess Dato’ Seri DiRaja Tan Sri Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz, on behalf of The Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, at the Residence in Kuala Lumpur.

The Princess Royal later attended a Dinner given by the British High Commissioner at the Residence.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, today visited Fifth Battalion and attended the rededication of the Northumberland Fusiliers/Durham Light Infantry Memorial and officially opened Anzio House, Quayside, Newcastle, Newcastle upon Tyne, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear (Mrs Susan Winfield).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Opera North, this evening attended a performance of Billy Budd, Grand Theatre, 46 New Briggate, Leeds, West Yorkshire.
