Mr Nicholas Kidd was received by The Queen today when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, and Founder and Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Dinner for the Trustees of both organisations.

The Earl of Wessex, President, National Youth Music Theatre, this afternoon attended rehearsals for the Fortieth Anniversary Concert at the Adelphi Theatre, Strand, London WC2.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, and Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this evening held a Trustees’ Dinner in celebration of the Sixtieth Anniversary of the Award.

The Princess Royal, President, Emerging Leaders’ Dialogues Asia (part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences), this afternoon visited Sarawak Energy Berhad, Menara Sarawak Energy, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Her Royal Highness, President, Emerging Leaders’ Dialogues Asia (part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences), later visited Sarawak Economic Development Corporation at Riverside Majestic Hotel, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kuching.

The Princess Royal this evening received the Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr Haji Adenan bin Haji (State Minister of Sarawak) at Hilton Kuching, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kuching.

Her Royal Highness later attended a Dinner held by the Sarawak Government at Hilton Kuching.
