Buckingham Palace

The President of the Republic of Colombia this morning attended a UK-Colombia Business Breakfast Meeting at Buckingham Palace.

The President afterwards attended a Colombia Business Forum at Mansion House, London EC4, and was received by the Rt Hon Dr Liam Fox MP (Secretary of State for International Trade and President of the Board of Trade) and the Rt Hon the Lord Mayor of the City of London.

His Excellency addressed the Forum and witnessed the Signing of the Double Taxation Agreement.

The President of the Republic of Colombia, accompanied by The Prince of Wales, later attended a “Forests, Biodiversity and Climate Change in the New Colombia” Round Table Meeting at the Natural History Museum, Cromwell Road, London SW7, and was received by the Hon Nick Hurd MP (Minister of State for Climate Change and Energy, Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy) and the Director of the Natural History Museum (Sir Michael Dixon).

The President this afternoon visited No. 10 Downing Street and had talks with the Prime Minister and subsequently was entertained to Luncheon by the Prime Minister on behalf of Her Majesty’s Government.

The President of the Republic of Colombia afterwards visited Churchill War Rooms, Clive Steps, King Charles Street, London SW1, and was received by the Director (Mr Philip Reed).

The President of the Republic of Colombia and Mrs María Clemencia Rodríguez de Santos later visited London School of Economics and Political Science, New Academic Building, Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London WC2, and were received by the Chairman of the London School of Economics Court of Governors (Mr Alan Elias).

The President delivered an Address and witnessed the Signing of the Mutual Recognition of Degrees Treaty.

The Rt Hon Jeremy Corbyn MP (Leader of the Opposition) called upon The President of the Republic of Colombia at Buckingham Palace.

The President of the Republic of Colombia and Mrs. Santos this evening received an Address of Welcome and were entertained at a Banquet by the Rt Hon the Lord Mayor and the City of London Corporation at Guildhall.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

Mrs María Clemencia Rodríguez de Santos, accompanied by The Countess of Wessex, this morning visited Vanessa Nursery School and Cathnor Park Children’s Centre, Cathnor Road, London W12.

Mrs. Santos, accompanied by Her Royal Highness, afterwards visited the Oro — Spirit and Nature of Territory Exhibition at Maddox Gallery, 9 Maddox Street, London W1.

Mr Dominic Jermey was received by The Queen today and kissed hands upon his appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

Ms. Clare Roberts was also received by Her Majesty.

The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Regiment of Scotland, this afternoon received Major General James Cowan upon relinquishing his appointment as Colonel of the Regiment and Major General Robert Bruce upon assuming the appointment.

Her Excellency Mrs Janice Charette was received in audience by The Queen upon her appointment as High Commissioner for Canada in London.

Mr Reginald Charette was also received by Her Majesty.

The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of York, Founder, later attended the opening of Pitch@Palace 6.0 at St James’s Palace.

The Rt Hon Theresa May MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

The Duke of Edinburgh, President, the Guinea Pig Club, this afternoon unveiled a commemorative tablet to the Club at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Mr Ian Dudson).

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Guinness Partnership, this afternoon held a Meeting.

His Royal Highness, President, Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, later visited the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Bowditch, Slimbridge, Gloucester, to mark its Seventieth Anniversary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership, this evening held a Dinner.

The Duke of York, Founder, this evening held Pitch@Palace for entrepreneurs and potential supporters at St James’s Palace.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning attended International Council Meetings, Missenden Abbey Conference Centre, London Road, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire.

His Royal Highness, Honorary Air Commodore, this evening attended a Centenary Dinner at Royal Air Force Waddington, Lincolnshire.

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth, today undertook the following engagements in Singapore.

Her Royal Highness this morning attended the Commonwealth Agriculture Conference at the Pan Pacific Hotel, Raffles Boulevard, Marina Square.

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited Sky Greens Farm, Lim Chu Kang Lane.

Her Royal Highness later visited Bollywood Veggies, Neo Tiew Road.

The Princess Royal subsequently visited Hay Dairies, Lim Chu Kang Lane.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended the Commonwealth Agriculture Conference Opening Dinner at Gardenasia, Nyee Phoe Flower Garden, Neo Tiew Crescent.
