Buckingham Palace

The Queen held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Queen, Joint Patron, and The Duke of Edinburgh this evening attended a Reception for Co-operation Ireland at Crosby Hall, Cheyne Walk, London SW3, and were received by the Chairman of Co-operation Ireland (Dr Christopher Moran) and Mr Peter Sheridan (Chief Executive).

The Duke of Edinburgh, Honorary Life Member, British Sub-Aqua Club, this morning presented The Duke of Edinburgh Prize at Buckingham Palace.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited International Humanitarian City, Dubai, and were received by Princess Haya bint Al Hussein Al Maktoum.

The Princes of Wales later visited the site of Expo 2020.

His Royal Highness afterwards called upon the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum).

The Prince of Wales this afternoon called upon The Ruler of Sharjah (Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi).

His Royal Highness later visited International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property-Architectural and Archaeological Tangible Heritage to the Arab Region.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Al Jalila Childrens’ Speciality Hospital.

Her Royal Highness later visited the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon departed from the United Arab Emirates for Bahrain and were received this evening in Manama by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain (His Excellency Mr Simon Martin), The Crown Prince of Bahrain and Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and Sheikha Hessa bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

Their Royal Highnesses were received by The King of Bahrain at Bustan Palace.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Dinner given by The King of Bahrain and Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa at Al Roudha Palace.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Music in Country Churches, was represented by the Earl of Chichester (Trustee) at the Memorial Service for Mr Alan Wilkinson (Musical Director) which was held in the Priory Church of St Bartholomew the Great, West Smithfield, London EC1, this afternoon.

The Duke of York, Patron, Broughton House, Home for Ex-Service Men and Women, this morning received Sir Netar Mallick (Chairman) and Mr Ty Platten (Chief Executive Officer).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, this afternoon received Professor Timothy Briggs (Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon).

The Duke of York, Founder, Pitch@Palace, later held a Meeting for the Pitch@Palace China Club.

The Princess Royal, Honorary Fellow, the Royal Institute of Navigation, this morning opened the International Navigation Conference at the University of Strathclyde, George Street, Glasgow, and was received by Mrs Jane McFadden (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Citizens Advice Scotland, this afternoon visited Coatbridge Citizens Advice Bureau, Fountain Business Centre, Ellis Street, Coatbridge, and was received by Mr John Brown (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Lanarkshire).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem and The Duchess of Gloucester, this evening held a Reception at Buckingham Palace in celebration of the work of St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group and the Order.

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, later attended a Dinner at the Cavalry and Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly, Mayfair, London W1.
