Buckingham Palace
His Excellency Mr Kristof Szalay-Bobrovniczky was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Hungary to the Court of St James’s.
Her Excellency Ms Amari Mandika Wijewardene was received in audience by Her Majesty and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in London.
Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.
Mr Simon Collis was received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon his appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ms Huda Mujarkech was also received by Her Majesty.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace this evening for The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy at which The Princess Royal, The Duke of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy were present.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today attended Receptions at St. James’s Palace for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award.

Her Royal Highness, Master, the Corporation of Trinity House, this afternoon presented Merchant Navy Medals for Meritorious Service at Trinity House, London EC3.
The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, The King’s Royal Hussars, this evening attended an Officers’ Dinner at the Cavalry and Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly, London W1.

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem, this morning officially opened the new Chilterns Court Care Centre, York Road, Henley-on-Thames, in support of the Order of St John Care Trust and was received by Mr John Harwood (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).
His Royal Highness this afternoon presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation to Sesui Limited, Magdalen Centre, 1 Robert Robinson Avenue, Oxford.
The Duke of Gloucester afterwards visited Ark T Centre, Crowell Road, Oxford.
