Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Dimitris Caramitzos-Tziras was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Hellenic Republic to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Margarita Mavromichalis was also received by Her Majesty.

Her Excellency Ms Baiba Braze was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Latvia to the Court of St James’s.

Mr Tjaco Theo Van der Hout was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

The President of the Portuguese Republic visited The Queen.

The Prince of Wales this morning received Major General Benjamin Bathurst (General Officer Commanding London District and Major General Commanding the Household Division).

His Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon held a Reception at Clarence House for the International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism.

The Prince of Wales later attended an Accounting for Sustainability Forum at St James’s Palace and afterwards held a Reception at Clarence House.

His Royal Highness, Patron, this evening gave a Dinner at Clarence House for the Turquoise Mountain Foundation.

The Duke of Cambridge today carried out the following engagements in Hanoi, Vietnam.

His Royal Highness, President, United for Wildlife, this morning attended an Illegal Wildlife Trade Conference at the Lotte Hotel.

The Duke of Cambridge, President, United for Wildlife, afterwards attended a Meeting with delegates from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, at the Lotte Hotel.

His Royal Highness this afternoon received Mr Vu Quang Hoi (Chairman, T&T Group) at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel.

The Duke of Cambridge, President, United for Wildlife, subsequently received Mr Yue Lei (Senior Vice-President, Sanpower Group).

His Royal Highness, President, United for Wildlife, later visited Vietnam Television Studios.

The Duke of York this morning attended a Meeting with Mr José Meade (Minister of Finance) at the Palacio Nacional, Mexico City.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Lunch given by Mr Carlos Slim Helú (businessman and philanthropist) at the Soumaya Museum, Mexico City.

The Duke of York this evening attended a Dinner given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the United Mexican States (His Excellency Mr Duncan Taylor) at the Residence in Mexico City.

The Earl of Wessex, Patron, Royal Fleet Auxiliary Association, this afternoon received Mr Frank Andrews upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Captain Raymond Bennett upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness, Vice-Patron, afterwards held a Meeting for the Commonwealth Games Federation.

The Earl of Wessex, Patron, this evening held a Reception at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the Sixtieth Anniversary of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon opened Portesbery School, Newfoundland Road, Deepcut, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mr Michael More-Molyneux).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, England Hockey, later held a Meeting followed by a Reception for those involved in the 2016 Olympic Games.

The Princess Royal, Patron, First World War Centenary Woods Project, this evening attended a Dinner at the ME London Hotel, 336-337 Strand, London WC2.

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Bencher, the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, this evening attended the Grand Day Dinner at 8 South Square, London WC1.
