Buckingham Palace

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Admiral of the Fleet the Lord Boyce KG (First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff, First and Principal Naval Aide-de-Camp to The Queen) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life and Work of Admiral of the Fleet Sir Edward Ashmore (formerly Chief of the Defence Staff, First Sea Lord and First and Principal Naval Aide-de-Camp to The Queen) which was held in the Lady Chapel, Westminster Abbey, London SW1, this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Admiral Sir James Perowne.

The Duke of York was represented by Captain Robert Guy RN.

The Princess Royal was represented by the Hon Dame Shân Legge-Bourke.

The Duke of York this morning attended a Meeting with Mr Rafael Moreno Valle (Governor of Puebla) at the Centro Integral de Servicios, Puebla, Mexico.

His Royal Highness, Founder, Pitch@Palace, today attended la Ciudad de las Ideas at Auditorio Metropolitano Puebla.

The Duke of York this evening departed Mexico City International Airport for the United Kingdom.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the International Rugby Match between Scotland and Argentina at Murrayfield, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Donald Wilson, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
