COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited the National Army Museum, Royal Hospital Road, London SW3, and were received by The Duke of Kent (Patron), Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa), the Chief of the General Staff (General Sir Nicholas Carter) and the Mayor of the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (Councillor Elizabeth Rutherford).

Her Majesty and His Royal Highness, escorted respectively by the Chairman (General Sir Richard Shirreff) and Mrs Janice Murray (Director General), visited the Army Gallery and Soldier Gallery and met members of staff and volunteers.

The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, afterwards re-opened the Museum.

The Duke of Edinburgh, President, this evening attended a Club Dinner at the Naval and Military Club, 4 St James’s Square, London SW1.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Admiral, Royal Yacht Squadron, was represented by the Lord Iliffe (formerly Commodore) at the Funeral of Mr Maldwin Drummond (former Commodore) which was held at All Saints Church, Fawley, Hampshire, this morning.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Rear Admiral Roy Clare.

The Princess Royal was represented by Rear Admiral Sir Jeremy de Halpert.

Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy was represented by Commander Timothy Ash RN.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this afternoon held a Meeting at Clarence House with representatives of the Great Barrier Reef Foundation.

His Royal Highness later received the Ambassador from the French Republic (Her Excellency Madame Sylvie Bermann) who presented The Prince of Wales with the Ordre du Mérite Agricole.

His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Meeting held by The Prince of Wales’s International Sustainability Unit at Spencer House, 27 St James’s Place, London SW1.

Kensington Palace

Prince Henry of Wales this morning attended a Military Mental Health Conference at King’s College, Strand, London WC2, and was received by Dr Paul Knapman (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

His Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon attended a Board Meeting at Sentebale, 136 Sloane Street, London SW1.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Founder, Pitch@Palace, this afternoon received Mr Duncan Logan (Chief Executive, RocketSpace, Inc.) and Ms Priya Guha (General Manager).

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Honorary Colonel, The Royal Wessex Yeomanry, this morning attended a Live Firing Day at Castlemartin Ranges, Merrion, Pembrokeshire.

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning attended a Reception at Bishop Mackenzie International School, Barron Avenue, Lilongwe, Malawi, for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award and opened the new Primary School Hall.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon departed from Lilongwe International Airport for the United Kingdom.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning officially opened Sedgefield Community College, Hawthorn Road, Sedgefield, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Co Durham (Mrs Susan Snowdon).

His Royal Highness today visited Auckland Castle, Market Place, Bishop Auckland, Co Durham.

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon officially opened Wolsingham School and Community College, Leazes Lane, Wolsingham, Co Durham.
