Buckingham Palace

The Duke of Edinburgh, Colonel-in-Chief, The Queen’s Royal Hussars (The Queen’s Own and Royal Irish), this morning received Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Porter upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Nicholas Cowley upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness, Patron, the St Nazaire Society, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4, to mark the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of the St Nazaire raid.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon met victims of the London terrorist attack and thanked members of staff at King’s College Hospital, Denmark Hill, London SE5, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa).

His Royal Highness this evening received Mr Christian Schmidt (Minister of Food and Agriculture from Germany).

Prince Henry of Wales, Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, this afternoon held a Meeting at Buckingham Palace for the Heads Together Campaign.

The Duke of York this morning departed from Royal Air Force Northolt, Ruislip, Middlesex, for Turkey and was received upon arrival at Antalya International Airport this afternoon by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey (His Excellency Mr Richard Moore).

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner to open the Turkish-British Tatlidil Forum at the Cornelia Diamond Hotel, Belek, Antalya.

The Duke of York later called upon His Excellency Mr Binali Yildirim (Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey).

The Princess Royal this morning opened the Pirbright Institute’s new Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council National Vaccinology Centre in the Jenner Building, Ash Road, Pirbright, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mr Michael More-Molyneux).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Lattitude Global Volunteering, later visited Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People, Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation Independent Living Services, Oaklawn Road, Leatherhead, and was received by Sir Adrian White (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).
