The Prince of Wales today undertook engagements in Cumbria and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Mrs Peter Hensman).

His Royal Highness this morning visited BAE Systems plc, Barrow-in-Furness.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon met members of Ennerdale Hub Limited, the Gather Cafe and Shop, the Ennerdale Centre,
Ennerdale Bridge.

His Royal Highness later visited Rosehill Theatre, Moresby, Whitehaven, and was presented with the Cumbria Tourism Personality of the Year Award and subsequently attended a Reception.

The Prince of Wales afterwards visited Whitehaven Foyer, Irish Street, Whitehaven.

His Royal Highness subsequently visited New Balance Athletic Shoes (UK) Limited, St Helens Lane, Flimby, Maryport.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Chancellor, University of Huddersfield, this morning opened the Association of University Directors of Estates Conference, Manchester Metropolitan University, All Saints, Manchester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mr Warren Smith).

His Royal Highness, Honorary Member, the Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire, this afternoon attended a Lunch at Cutlers’ Hall, Church Street, Sheffield, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire (Mr Andrew Coombe).

The Duke of York later opened The Duke of York Factory 2050, Sheffield Business Park, Europa View, Sheffield.
