Buckingham Palace

Ms Ruth Bell (Deputy Lieutenant of Bedfordshire) was present at Luton Airport this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Uganda and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

The Baroness Buscombe (Baroness in Waiting) was present at Royal Air Force Northolt this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Kenya and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of Her Majesty.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning attended the official opening of the Police Service Northern Ireland Memorial Garden, Knock Road, Belfast, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast (Ms Fionnuala Jay-O’Boyle).

Their Royal Highnesses later visited the Market Square, Dromore, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Down (Mr David Lindsay).

The Duchess of Cornwall afterwards opened Dromore Central Primary School, Mossvale Road, Dromore.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon arrived in Dublin and were received by the Irish Ambassador to the United Kingdom (Mr Daniel Mulhall) and Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Ireland (His Excellency Mr Robin Barnett).

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards called upon The President of Ireland and Mrs Higgins at Aras an Uachtarain, Dublin.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall subsequently attended a Reception for Youth given by The President and Mrs Higgins at Aras an Uachtarain.

Their Royal Highnesses were entertained to Dinner this evening at Aras an Uachtarain by The President of Ireland and Mrs Higgins.

Mr Scott Furssedonn-Wood, Mrs Sophia Densham and Mrs Laura Sullivan are in attendance.

His Royal Highness this afternoon received Mr Timothy Hitchens (Chief Executive of the Commonwealth Summit 2018).

The Duke of York this evening received Mr Binali Yildirim (Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey).

The Countess of Wessex this evening attended a Gala Dinner given by the Norwegian Government at Oslo Opera House for The King and Queen of Norway’s Eightieth Anniversaries.

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited Battersea Power Station, Circus West Village, Grosvenor Arch, London SW8.

Her Royal Highness, Past Master, the Worshipful Company of Carmen, this evening held a Five Hundredth Anniversary Reception at St James’s Palace.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Heritage of London Trust, this morning visited Avenue House Estate, 17 East End Road, Finchley, London N3, and was received by Mr Martin Russell (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Heritage of London Trust, later visited Barnet Museum, 31 Wood Street, Barnet, Hertfordshire.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Heritage of London Trust, afterwards visited Physic Well, Well Approach, Barnet.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Barnet Battlefield, Wrotham Park, Hertfordshire.

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards visited Hope Corner, 185 Mays Lane, Barnet.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, this morning departed Heathrow Airport, London, for Denmark.

His Royal Highness this afternoon laid a wreath at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission site at Bispebjerg Cemetery, Copenhagen.

The Duke of Kent afterwards met the Commission’s Danish volunteers at the British Embassy, Kastelsvej 36-40, Copenhagen.
