The Countess of Wessex, President, the Devon County Agricultural Association, today visited Devon County Show, Westpoint, Clyst St. Mary, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr. David Fursdon).

The Princess Royal, Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon arrived at the Palace of Holyroodhouse and was received by the Hereditary Keeper (the Duke of Hamilton and Brandon).

Her Royal Highness inspected a Guard of Honour found by Balaklava Company The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland.

Afterwards Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the Rt. Hon. the Lord Provost) surrendered to The Princess Royal the Keys of the City, which Her Royal Highness returned to him.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening held at Dinner at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
