Windsor Castle

The Queen honoured Ascot Races with her presence today.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Lady Susan Hussey (Lady in Waiting) at the Funeral of the Lord Wigram which was held in St Michael’s and All Angels Church, Poulton, Gloucestershire, today.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, this morning visited The Parachute Regiment at Merville Barracks, Colchester, Essex.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, President, Seafarers UK (King George’s Fund for Sailors), this morning opened the Centenary Wing at Mariners’ Park, Wallasey, and was received by Mr David McDonnell (Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside).

His Royal Highness this afternoon opened the Everton in the Community People’s Hub at Everton Football Club, Spellow Lane, Walton, Liverpool.

The Earl of Wessex afterwards visited Brunswick Youth and Community Centre, Marsh Lane, Bootle, to mark their Seventieth Anniversary and was received by Colonel Martin Amlôt (Deputy Lieutenant of Merseyside).

His Royal Highness later visited the Bluecoat, Liverpool One, School Lane, Liverpool, to mark their Three Hundredth Anniversary.

The Earl of Wessex this evening attended a Reception onboard HMS Iron Duke, the Cruise Liner Terminal, Liverpool, in celebration of Armed Forces Day and was received by Captain Hugh Daglish RN (Deputy Lieutenant of Merseyside).

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this afternoon received an Award from the Spanish Riding School for Outstanding Achievements in Horse Sports, at the Spanish Riding School, Michaelerplatz 1, Vienna, and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Austria (His Excellency Mr Leigh Turner).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Construction Youth Trust, this morning received Mr Andrew Wates (Chairman) and Ms Carol Lynch (Chief Executive).

Buckingham Palace

Princess Alexandra this evening attended the St George’s House Annual Lecture in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.
