The Queen honoured Ascot Races with her presence today.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Welsh National Opera, this evening attended a performance of Die Fledermaus at the Wales Millennium Centre, Bute Place, Cardiff, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Mrs Morfudd Meredith).

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, representing The Queen, this morning took the salute at the march past on National Armed Forces Day, the Cruise Liner Terminal, Liverpool, and was received by Mr David McDonnell (Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside).

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon departed from Gatwick Airport, London, for Bermuda and was received upon arrival this evening at LF Wade International Airport, St George’s, by the Governor of Bermuda (His Excellency Mr John Rankin).

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, later attended a Reception at Government House, 11 Langton Hill, Pembroke.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this evening departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Kazakhstan.

Lieutenant-Colonel Alastair Todd is in attendance.
